What We Believe In

We believe in making good products, but we also believe that a business should be about more than simply making money.

We believe in giving back.

Our goal is to start with the people in our own community who need a helping hand the most — especially people experiencing homelessness and people who don’t have enough to eat.

We don’t currently donate through large organizations or simply write a cheque and walk away. We prefer to go downtown ourselves and give directly to people.

Sometimes that means buying pizzas and handing them out. Sometimes it’s doughnuts and coffee. Sometimes it’s simply sitting down, talking to someone, listening to them, or asking what they need.

We’re working toward creating things like pancake breakfasts and spaghetti nights, where we can bring people together, provide a good meal, and hopefully create a little bit of warmth and community along the way.

And honestly, we need your help to make more of that possible.

We’re not asking you to donate money.

We’re not asking you to send us anything.

We’re asking you to buy something you actually like — something you can wear proudly.

When you purchase something from us, you’re supporting a small Canadian business that is trying to build something for itself while also trying to do something for the people around us.

We’ll keep doing the work in the background.

We’ll keep trying to grow.

We’ll keep trying to support ourselves.

And as we grow, we’d like to be able to do more.

We aren’t interested in wearing a crown because we helped someone.

We don’t need a crown.

We don’t need a giant house.

We don’t need a driveway full of fancy cars.

We don’t need to eat at the most expensive restaurants or spend our lives chasing the newest and most luxurious things.

We just want to be happy.

We want to enjoy the time we have.

We want to create something we’re proud of.

And we want to be able to help someone else along the way.

Because we’re only here once.

No amount of money, wealth, luxury, cars, houses or possessions can change the fact that none of us gets to take any of it with us.

So why not share some of it while we’re here?

Why not buy someone a coffee?

Why not buy someone a meal?

Why not sit down and talk to somebody who might not have anyone else talking to them that day?

Why not make someone’s day a little better if you have the opportunity?

That’s the kind of company we want to build.

Not a company that tells you how generous we are.

Not a company looking for praise.

Just a small Canadian business trying to make good products, support itself, give back directly to the community, and share a little of what we have along the way.

So if you see something on our site that you like, buy it because you like it.

Wear it because you’re proud of it.

And know that your purchase helps us keep doing what we’re trying to do.

You wear it.
We put some of it back into the community.

That’s it.

No crown.

No applause.

Just trying to do a little good while we’re here.
